The UK economy is officially in recession, according to the latest figures from the office for National Statistics (ONS) and advertising and marketing budgets are usually the first to be slashed; but be positive. In previous downturns the businesses that continued to market themselves through a recession were best placed when the climate improved.
To help you in what could be a difficult time we have devised a top 10 credit crunch marketing tips:
- Network Network Network!!! – Explore the numerous groups in Greater Manchester. The majority will allow you to attend as a guest on at least one occasion
- Always follow up any contacts – this is essential as it shows enthusiasm to build on a relationship
- When you have worked or supplied products to a client ask for recommendations. It works!
